CUSTER — Sturgis won the girls title at Saturday’s Bill Young Invitational. 

The Scoopers totaled 212.5 points, finishing ahead of Lakota Tech (131) and Rapid City Stevens (125.5). Hot Springs (109.5) and Lead-Deadwood (98) rounded out the top-five teams. 

For Sturgis, Annalee Pierson (115 pounds), Kaidynce Hand (120), Brooklyn Baird (130) and Eleanor Jacobs (135) claimed individual titles.

Lakota Tech’s Iva Black Elk (100), Belle Fourche’s Kyra Vandenberg (105), Pine Ridge’s Louise Pond (110), Kadlin Humbracht (125), Rapid City Stevens’ Eliana Zent (140), Lead-Deadwood’s Eddy Adkins (145), Hot Springs’ Sarah Rickenbach (155), Rapid City Stevens’ Bella Morteo (170), Custer’s Jessica Hite (190) and Hot Springs’ Caydan Halls (235) also won individual titles.
